The SuNuP project aims to understand the different mechanisms involved in the resistance to drying of microorganisms through an integrated analytical approach: from the culture stage at the laboratory level in a mini-bioreactor to drying at the pilot scale. The general objective will be to find the best compromise, in the spectrum of available drying techniques, between the quality of the product and the energy efficiency of the process.
1. You follow some R&D project related to the resistance to drying of microorganisms :
⦁ You execute experiments in lab and pilot scale fittingly with the work plan
⦁ You report & share results with the team
⦁ You collaborate with GRS, BU team and external research partners (Universities)
2. You propose new product and are responsible for the process development
⦁ You are responsible of the bibliography
⦁ You define best formula and fermentation process to optimize quality & output, in line with expectations
⦁ You deliver dried fermented product at lab and pilot scale in line with expectations
⦁ You search, test and validate new type of drying equipment, technology and processes
3. You are the coach of students (planning, lab support, researchs…)
