Reporting to the Production Manager, the Maintenance Team Leader will be responsible for the day to day maintenance & engineering of production equipment and facility, to support timely production, product quality, food safety, and manufacturing efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations throughout the plant.
  • Monitor production operations to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency and quality.
  • Understand the performance metrics to measure all production lines efficiencies.
  • Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance programs for all production lines with Director of Operations, Production Manager and take measures to avoid unnecessary downtime.
  • Resolve reactive maintenance priorities in an urgent manner.
  • Reinforce the effective use computerized maintenance program (CMMS) to plan accurately and effectively.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to by both colleagues and outside contractors.
