Major tasks of the Inventory planning are the following:
• Define Inventory Policies driving Slow Moving financial provisions and scrapping processes.
• Define and implement the Inventory strategies with horizon 18 months : service segmentation by product group, distribution channel (OE and REP), sales channel; optimized niche product management, accordingly to Production capability and Sales dynamics.
• Define Inventory Target, for both REPL and OE, Total Business Units, including Regional, European and Manufacturing Distribution Centers through the use of advanced multi-echelon inventory optimization tools using ML/AI.
• Partner with Data Analytics Team to design and introduce new descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics and data science which are relevant in the planning perimeter and contest.
• Identify, develop and implement advance and integrated Inventory Planning tool which cover e2e all value chain from raw material to product on shelf.
