Description

We are looking for a  M&A and Strategic Partnerships Manager reporting directly to the M&A and Strategic Partnerships Director. This is an “EMIA” role, based in Brussels. The M&A and Strategic Partnerships team is responsible for building and executing Bridgestone EMIA‘s  (Europe, Russia, Middle East, India and Africa) external growth strategy. This includes, M&A, joint venture, minority investments, and other forms of partnerships. The team is also driving, in coordination with Americas and Asia, innovation and venture capital activities. The team works hand in hand with operational counterparts throughout the world to identify potential acquisitions and execute them. Our M&A scope is broad and includes core industrial activities and technology/ mobility related businesses. The M&A and Strategic Partnerships Manager will have a central role in all stages of the transaction process, from the strategic analysis, sourcing of opportunities, execution of the transaction to post-closing. The role requires close interaction with senior executives throughout the company on a wide array of subjects.

Responsibilities

M&A:

  • Perform detailed strategic analysis of opportunities (market and company analysis, strategic fit, value proposition, business models and financial forecasting)
  • Elaborate value creation strategies by building comprehensive business cases and valuation models
  • Drive the due diligence process to evaluate potential benefits, risk and propose mitigation plans
